Who We Are

Orca Media is a tight-knit pod of creatives who live and breathe life on the water. We’re filmmakers, photographers, social media marketers; and all derive from former lives as crew. We turn superyacht moments into cinematic stories that move people and grow brands.

What we do

We specialise in bespoke content creation and social media marketing for the luxury-travel world; especially superyachts and their ecosystem of brokers, builders, charter teams and shipyards.

Where we started

Our founder, Callum Johns, began on deck. After time working as a superyacht deckhand on M/Y Savannah and various private vessels, and years in the newbuild/refit sector within global shipyards, supplying marine-interiors, he launched Orca Media in 2022, to bring an insider’s eye to storytelling at sea. Today he leads the team as Owner & Creative Director, still happiest with a camera in hand and getting stuck into challenging projects.

We’re proudly based in the South West of England, and operate wherever the work and weather take us, with frequent shoots across the Mediterranean and Caribbean. We established the brand in early 2022 and later incorporated as Orca Media Productions Ltd in January 2023.

How we work

Crew-smart, yacht-ready. Because we’ve worked onboard, we have the etiquette, safety awareness, and ability to handle the lines when needed. Once a deckhand, always a deckhand! Beyond this, we know when to film and when to step back, so that operational standards are never compromised.

End-to-end production. Storyboarding, on-location capture, aerials, underwater, edit, colour grade, sound, and delivery tailored to each platform.

Confidential by default. NDAs are standard. We use dedicated storage per project and encrypted transfers to protect client assets.
